Taylor University’s Professional Writing Conference 2017

Taylor University Professional Writing conference August 4 5 2017 Tisha Martin author editor

These words won’t do this conference justice, but attending Taylor University’s Professional Writing Conference 2017 was the most amazing, encouraging, unifying, and empowering experience I’ve ever had. The faculty and editors/agents present (among some are Linda GlazBob Hostetler, Chip MacGregor, Dawn Anderson, James Watkins, Rachael Phillips, Estee Zandee, Dennis “Doc” Hensley, Cindy Sproles, and others) truly had a huge heart to teach, to encourage, to share their knowledge and experiences, to help you build platform — and to give you understanding as to HOW it’s done. I’m blessed beyond measure.

Marketing plug here — And best of all, it’s so affordable for “poor” writers. 🙂 Centrally located in the US, this two-day conference is jam-packed with knock-your-socks-off industry information that will push you to the next level without overwhelming you while you’re there. A beautiful opportunity to network, network, network, and to get to know others on a more interpersonal level. It’s always the first weekend in August, held at Taylor University’s lovely campus. Mark your calendars for next year!! You’ll not be disappointed!

James L. Watkins, humorist, writer, and editor, keynoted the end of Taylor University’s Professional Writing conference. Ah-mazing!

Here’s the transcript of his keynote about The Creative Ten Commandments.
